1st and 2nd Day Flores

12th/13th September 2018 - Flight to Ende, Flores with a stopover at Komodo Airport. Turboprop aircraft ATR72-600 (see image). 2 hours drive over the mountains to Moni. Accommodation leaves much to be desired. Thankfully, overnight stay only until 3 a.m. Picked up at 4 a.m. for a drive to Bajawa - or so we thought. We were dropped off in the cold and darkness at the national park to see the sunrise at the 3 lakes. We were not properly dressed for this tour, so we refused. Then a 6-hour return trip to Bajawa. Ended up at a simple but clean hotel called Happy Happy.
