I spend the morning as usual at the hostel studying the Lonely Planet (sounds boring, but it's important - my mind is clear in the morning).
Now we're heading from the Central Valley to the Sierra Nevada. The highway eventually becomes a single lane, the road gets curvier, and a mountain stream lines the panorama.
Arriving at Lake Tahoe and after a break, I visit a few camping sites. Camping here is completely different from what we're used to - I mean, I think I understand the rules, but mentally I can't really accept them...
Lake Tahoe is very beautiful and serves as a ski resort in the winter. Unfortunately, the area is quite crowded with American family tourists.
