Today was one of those days when you have a lot of energy for exploring and wandering around after a week of rain (in a Rainforest, still not that bad as anywhere else 😉).
By recharging, I mean mentally. Job search is still annoying me and I desperately needed a day just for myself. And of course, my destination had to be something related to water and the beach.
So, I hopped in my car and went to Alligators Nest in Tully Gorge National Park.
In the summer, it's a popular spot for locals to cool down, but it's perfect even in winter. Clear water surrounded by rainforest. There's also a BBQ area to spend your day.
After that, I went to Garners Beach around the corner.
I've never been there in my 2 weeks here and all I'm asking myself right now is why!
