After a rather short and fun-filled night in Wellington, we left early for the ferry to Picton. The ride was very windy, but beautiful :) There was even a cinema on the ferry. After a three-hour drive, we arrived on the South Island. Luckily, I had some wine drinkers on the bus, so we made a quick stop near Picton at a winery and were able to participate in a small wine tasting. After that, we went to Nelson and then to Abel Tasman National Park. Unfortunately, our air conditioning didn't work in the 'new' bus.. So it wasn't the most pleasant ride, even though we drove with the door open ^^. The evening was even better with a glass of wine, live music, and a beautiful starry sky.
