The next morning we had guests at breakfast. Two little falcons eyed us critically. Since we had some leftover meat from the previous evening, Mattis thought it would be safe in the talons of the falcons. So the meat was chopped into small pieces and thrown to the birds as food. We also tried to film the birds more closely by setting up mobile phones and iPads. Unfortunately, we only succeeded moderately.
Before we left, we stocked up on meat and went to the laundry to say goodbye to the employees there and thank them for the great meat tips.
Afterwards, we went to the ice cream parlor and the adjacent creperie. There we bought the most delicious meat crepes we had ever tasted.
With food in hand, we continued on to Bariloche. Luckily, the drive only took about 90 minutes. When we arrived at our previously reserved apartment, it turned out that the apartments were very small and incredibly dirty. The manager, to whom we said we would not be staying here, then told us that she also had her own apartments that she would rent to us at a cheaper price. So we looked at these apartments and were pleasantly surprised to find that they were really nice. We also found the circular route that we wanted to take anyway, but probably wouldn't have found otherwise.
On the circular route, we passed, among other things, a brewery that was beautifully laid out.
The town of Bariloche is known for its chocolate, so we went to a chocolaterie to try it. We drank it in the form of hot chocolate and it was very delicious and rich.
In the evening, Heike and Christian spent the evening grilling again, while the children played with a dog.
