Today's ride started with a complete contrast to yesterday, the roads were full of potholes, rocks, and gravel. Accordingly, we had to drive more carefully and made significantly slower progress. At times, we had the impression that not many "western" tourists had passed through here yet, and there were no signs of tourism to be found. After a while, the roads were well built again and shortly before our destination, we struggled our three motorcycles up a mountain pass with an altitude of 1100 meters. We checked into a hostel in the middle of tea plantations in Moc Chau. From there, we walked into the city for dinner. While we were sitting at dinner, it started pouring rain. After waiting for a while and the rain not getting any better, we decided to walk home in the rain. Jan and I took off our t-shirts so that we wouldn't have too many wet clothes. As we walked on the main road through 30cm deep water, we were celebrated from left and right. In between, we took a short beer break in a kind of pub. Drenched, we reached our hostel.
