Who or what is Oliver Sassafras? When we wake up early in the morning, we don't know or know him or that yet. The blue sky and the sunshine make our spirits soar. With enthusiasm and skillful moves, we make Vicky roadworthy. Today we're going to Port Macquire with the subsequent destination Urunga.

Like in the last two days, we're looking for a breakfast beach, which we find just before Port Macquire. Luckily, we already pre-cut the fruits for the muesli last night. We enjoy the power superfruit muesli with coffee, orange juice, and a sea view.

On the way to the city of Port M., we happen to come across a Rainforest Walk, where we make a stop. The nice lady at the entrance tells us that we are lucky in misfortune. The path is open, but unfortunately only a third of it. Apparently, a storm raged in the previous days, knocking over some trees. Surprised by what has happened, we set off (we didn't notice anything about the storm or rain...). We see numerous, very special plants and trees, including Oliver's Sassafras (or Duunumbang). What a name :)

We explore Port Macquire on foot, buy the long-sought-after pumpernickel, and continue on our way to Urunga. On the way, we feel a certain fatigue, which we drown with a coffee stop in Nambucca Heads. Strengthened, we tackle the last 20km. When we arrive in Urunga, we head to the camping site of the 'Reflections' chain. This is already the third one in a row. Today, the camping woman recommended a membership to us. This saves us 25 AUD for tonight. We won't say no to that and become members :)

The walk to the beach is not missing today either. This time, the path leads us over a 1.3km long wooden bridge over a lagoon. On the way back, we see lots of tiny crabs frolicking on the wet sand. We also spot a kangaroo. We finish the evening in a classic and comfortable way with dinner, a shower, and reading.

P.S. Pickup line of the day:

S: Marco, you're a seven-footer!

M: So I'm just a 7 bunny....?

S: Yeah, I'm making you think up to a 10!
