On the 10th, we arrived in Cairns and, as mentioned before, moved into an apartment. Linda and I had to return our beloved campervan on the 11th, which was both relieving and sad... but everything went well. We drove near the city for a little while and coincidentally ran into the two Dutch girls again and spent some time with them before returning to the apartment. On the 12th, Linda went diving during the day, and the boys and I slept for a long time, watched a movie, and then Linda was already back. This was also Linda's last evening with us. We didn't do anything special, just enjoyed our last time together, and Linda prepared for her flight the next morning. We said goodbye at 10 o'clock in the morning, and no one could actually realize that all the time we spent together and the entire half year that we have known each other is now simply over... good for me because then I didn't have to cry. I didn't have much time during the day to be sad either because Laurenz and I went to the bungee tower in Cairns around half past twelve. My thoughts were then clearly focused on the upcoming bungee jump. What can I say? A really cool feeling, no matter how much you tremble when you walk up and stand at the top. Afterwards, you are definitely full of adrenaline and your head is full of blood. I would do it over and over again. The feeling of standing on the edge and then jumping is indescribable. After that, we went shopping and picked up Kili and then took a short trip to the city. But there's really nothing to see in Cairns. After that, we went home, had dinner, relaxed for a short while, and then went to bed early.
In the morning, we cleaned up and packed our suitcases because we moved out of the apartment. We then drove to Cairns, the boys checked us into a hostel, and then we met Sonja, Nicola, and Luise. And that was it for me in Cairns, I then drove to the airport to catch my flight to Perth.✈️
