Continue without cash

Pack up and have breakfast at the chapel, then continue downhill to Sougia. It was actually quite unspectacular. The guidebook even suggested taking a taxi, which of course was out of the question for me. The last section then led through 'pathless terrain', which I am now quite familiar with. I had to think about how to continue without my wallet. I decided not to take the bus to Chania today, but rather to relax here and hike the missing stages in the south (I had to stop due to the broken shoes). So I set up my tent on the beach and plan to take the ferry to Agia Roumeli tomorrow. I will definitely manage without cash 😀.
