Plastic balls swimming pools and other fun stuff

We declared Friday to be a chill/shopping day. In the evening, we had a farewell dinner for Lee, Rachel, and Camille. We started the evening at a super cute Argentine restaurant (Rib Eye Steak = much love). In the next bar, we somehow managed to gather a huge group of people (including many people from Cony's language school) and then we went to a techno club, which was more Cony's taste (I'm not a big fan of techno, as you know). The next morning, when we went on a day trip to Guatapé with a tour group, I was glad I had at least 4 hours of sleep... Cony had only slept for an hour. Note: It's semi-cool to climb a huge rock with 700 steps after almost sleepless night. But the view was great. The town of Guatapé is also beautiful because there's a law that every resident has to paint their house in colorful way. After the trip, we needed a power nap first before experiencing 'Medellin en la noche' one last time with a few people from Cony's language school. We started in a bar with a plastic balls swimming pool, then went to a Colombian salsa bar, and the evening ended at the same place where I sang karaoke a few days ago. Thanks Medellin - you were awesome! 😊

A little additional story:

Remember when I said 'I'm ready for Minca' after my adrenaline rush in Minca... A few days ago, when we were sitting outside a bar, there were apparently two huuuuge rats. But since the others knew how much I hate rats, they said 'the people are screaming because it has a snake.' And I even made macho comments like: 'What a bunch of wimps, screaming over a little snake.' I even thought I saw the snake (which was actually the rat's tail). So the rats were really huuuuge! 5 minutes later, the rat passed by about 20 cm away from me and I didn't notice a thing. Jan, Cony, and Valerie played along perfectly and saved me from a heart attack. GRACIAS!
