I actually had the best lamb in New Zealand in Rotorua (in hindsight). However, as it turned out later, this style of preparation is very popular, even in Australia! Because I will have the pleasure of eating Lamb Marcoan Style several times.

Whenever you arrive at a new place, the question always arises, Where can I get something to eat here?

In Rotorua, I could only get something in a motel. Strangely, almost all motels in Rotorua are located on the same street that leads to Rotorua. They only differ in the design and color. One after the other...

Somewhere between the individual motels (about 600m away), I found a bistro that was even in the top 5 on TripAdvisor. So I went there.

The place was very crowded and I was the only single table. Families all around me...

I was glad that the food came quickly, as I didn't have anything to read with me. Unfortunately, there was no table at the bar, like I usually take.

I had decided on the Moroccan-style lamb. It came with Harissa Cous Cous, feta cheese, salt, and lime-mint pearls (on the far right). It was amazing. Especially the pearls.

I have to remember that :-)
