On the Road again

People, it's that time again, after about 2.5 months with a fixed residence in and around Noosa, we're on the move again!

The 6-week summer/Christmas holidays for Max and Moritz have started and we want to use them to travel again as a family of four.

So basically, holidays from vacation ;-) We plan to drive south for about 5 weeks with the 'old Swede', our 11-year-old Volvo: From Queensland to New South Wales, further to Victoria, and back to Noosa through the inland.

Since some people are worried about the extreme bushfires in Australia, here's a quick update: Unfortunately, there are still about 100 bushfires along the east coast. We have prepared well and have an up-to-date bushfire map to keep us informed, as well as the car radio. Otherwise, we have planned the tour in a way that we want to avoid the fires.

If everything goes according to plan, we should be in the Snowy Mountains on Christmas "I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas" ...

However, it remains exciting!
