19. The south of Vancouver Island

I then drove to Ucluelet with a few stops along the way to Victoria. Unfortunately, it was very rainy, so I didn't do much outside and did more driving.

A pretty interesting stop was Botany Bay and Botanical Beach. At low tide, small pools form in the rocks where shells, starfish, fish, crabs, etc. gather. So you can get really close to all that without having to go in the water. Just be careful - it's super slippery!

Then I also liked Victoria. It's a beautiful city right by the water and you can leisurely stroll around and explore the city. Alternatively, you can visit the many parks and sit in the green. Peacocks also roam freely in one of the parks.

From Victoria, I then took the ferry to Port Angeles in Washington.
