Today we visited the small town of Bormes-les-Mimosas, which is not far from our campsite.
It is considered one of the most beautiful in France and it's easy to see why. The journey itself is a highlight. It goes up the mountain, so you get a great view of the valley.
The town itself is enchanting: a seemingly endless labyrinth of stairs and narrow streets, incredibly colorful and flowers everywhere. Every now and then you can see the sea, small shops and restaurants. We are amazed by the beautiful houses and courtyards that can be found everywhere.
We continue to Cap Benat, which is also nearby, but not as easy to reach, as it is also the summer residence of the respective president and the first path we want to take is blocked by guards, so we turn around and find another way.
We finally reach Plage de Brégancon and enjoy the sun, the water and the view from the cliffs.
In the evening, we have ratatouille and French baguette, and we have to say goodbye to our wonderful campsite.
