Day 10 Last day of vacation in 🇫🇷

Actually, we were supposed to leave yesterday, but we like it here so much that we spontaneously extended our stay for one more night. At home, all we can expect is cold and rain.

This morning, we have something special planned: we are going horseback riding, a very popular tourist attraction here. Yesterday, we checked out a stable, the horses seemed content, and the operators were nice... So let's go. At 11 o'clock, we mount Pippo, Cheyenne, Rogers, and Pompon and ride on a guided tour through the marshes of Camargue for an hour, even various flamingos can be admired again. In the end, everyone would have liked to ride even longer.

After the ride, we spend some more time in the pool and in the late afternoon, we drive to Aigues-Mortes, which already appeared very pretty on the boat tour the day before. The first impression was not deceiving, the small town is really beautiful. We buy souvenirs and have dinner at a small restaurant to end our vacation.

Just in time for sunset, we arrive at the white, fine sand of the vast dune landscape of Espiguette. It's a pity that we weren't here earlier, but there was just so much to discover. In the warm light of the setting sun, we slowly bid farewell to our summer in France. Tomorrow, we will continue on...
