05.01.-07.01.2020 Tuapiro, the little paradise, fishing in the wind and sunshine

Not much further from our last campsite, we ended up at Tuapiro campground, a bay that seems somewhat paradise-like.

We stayed here longer than we originally planned. We would describe ourselves as slow travelers. But why not? We actually wanted to pass the time because we booked the Hobbiton Movie Tour including an evening feast on 08.01. and didn't want to drive a lot of extra kilometers. (we were only 1 hour away at the moment)

So what did we do? We fished in mega wind, enjoyed the sun when the clouds let it through, and explored Tauranga, the next big city nearby.
