Day 3: Perth - Pick up camper

ที่ตีพิมพ์: 20.09.2018

We all sleep fairly well and long. The Australian air is especially good for Maxima. We wake her up at 10 o'clock so we can go to the rental office to pick up our camper. We take a taxi again. This time, the distance is twice as long but at a cheaper price (27 AUD).

There isn't much going on at the depot and we don't have to wait long until it's our turn. However, the camper pick-up takes quite some time. First, the contractual details and then the vehicle introduction including all technical details. Although we are experienced from our first trip to Australia in 2016 and New Zealand in 2014, there are still some new and different things. The kids are getting impatient and can't wait to get started. We're finally done in the early afternoon. We're hungry and order a pizza.

We head back to the campground. The kids take a nap and we pack our things into the camper. There is a lot to store. With some practice and skill, we manage to fit everything in. At the campground shop, we get some spaghetti. After dinner, we are completely exhausted and fall asleep in our beds at 8 o'clock. I have no idea when was the last time we went to sleep so early.
