Today we have a trip to Norway on the program, we want to visit the ski jump at Holmenkollen. Oslo is not a small town, the traffic suddenly becomes really stressful, but we find our way to the north of the city.
The facility is an impressive building that you know from television. When you stand at the Bakken, you can't believe that these half-size portions are flying down here. We buy tickets for the Norwegian Ski Museum but unfortunately find out that the elevator to the tower is out of order. So, the most spectacular attraction is unfortunately not available. Too bad. Nevertheless, we visit the museum and take some photos of the jump hill.
Dad and the kids try out the ski jump simulator, it's fun but over quickly.
Now we have 3 hours of driving ahead of us, we still have traffic on the Oslo Tangent. We have to go back to Sweden and drive along the west coast until we find a very nice campsite near Uddevalla, right on a fjord.
