The night was terrible. My arm hurt. I didn't know how to lie down. The night eventually ended, but the pain when lifting my arm did not. I wonder what this is again. My darling thinks it's overexertion. But what did I do left-handed yesterday? I play disc golf right-handed, like almost everything else. I didn't fall or hit anything. The only thing I did yesterday evening was take a bath in the lake. Well, there were some waves and I had to paddle against the waves on my back, lying on my air mattress, to the shore. If that's the reason, from next week on I won't eat anything and only do yoga and strength training. Are these the first signs of getting older? And that at 30X - hard to believe.
But my darling is not feeling any better either. The 30 cm jump in the school bus from Calgary to the campground is now making itself known. He feels such strong pain in his back that he is voluntarily doing stretching exercises and yoga today.
But we don't want to talk about our suffering, if that doesn't interest you, you should skip to the next paragraph 😉.
Today the sun is shining brightly from the cloudless sky, the thermometer is supposed to reach 34 degrees. Today we're doing nothing. Absolutely nothing. Finally time to drink coffee extensively, to lazily lie in the sun,
then cool off in the lake and start all over again,
just not with coffee but with various refreshing drinks - not what you're thinking - no alcohol, that's for later in the evening, but we're still undecided about that (that's an inside joke, to understand it you have to know the song by Ikke Hüftgold "Ich schwanke noch").
Simply let your soul dangle, get a sunburn and at the same time enjoy watching the neighbor's children who are being calmed down in their children's pen with chips and ice cubes.
Both can barely stand and take a few clumsy steps, but it works great to eat the other's chips.
What we are missing for our ultimate super chill day, however, are comfortable chairs,
in which you can sit comfortably and not like a monkey on a grindstone. But for 7 CAN$, you can't expect anything better than the ones we rented from Canadream. And we didn't even get a table with the chairs. Canadians are strange.
We enjoy life 😊
