The day starts aimlessly. There is nothing planned for today, and I haven't decided yet how and where the journey will continue.
But I definitely want to visit the old town of Zadar. It can be perfectly combined with a morning coffee.
The city center is not far from the sea. Tucked away between thick, centuries-old stone walls, the many small cafes are already well visited by the locals in the morning. Small alleyways, fish restaurants, and the remains of Roman buildings give the old town its special charm. It also seems very lively and spirited to me.
Even after an espresso and some delicious sweet pastries, I still lack motivation or a plan today. There are many options from here, and the different possibilities overwhelm me a bit. Another national park? Climbing area on a whim? By bike to one of the islands?
In the end, it will be a campsite 6 km away. Since I also have a few things to do now, it makes sense for today. Refill fresh water, empty wastewater and toilet, adjust the brakes on the bike, wash (with good old hand washing as there is no washing machine available), etc.
Also, think a little about how to proceed.
Not so exciting today.
The campsite is very cozy with direct access to the sea. Unfortunately, the first cannonball has to be postponed again as it is very stormy all day and the sea is accordingly unwelcoming. It also rains from time to time.
Trained in the evening.
Still no plan for the next day.
