Since Saturday, we have been experiencing Robinson Crusoe feeling. We flew to Viwa Island, the westernmost island of Fiji, in about 30 minutes by seaplane (a 4-man Cessna). The plane could not fly all the way to the resort of the same name due to the reefs, so we were transferred to a small boat with our suitcases on the sea. We were greeted by the staff with singing on the beach. Singing goes on all day here - and it's exceptionally good. There is a serenade for breakfast, for sundowner, and in between on every occasion. The resort has only 11 bungalows, of which only half are currently occupied. Therefore, we receive a very exclusive service. The staff is extremely warm-hearted. Highly recommended if you appreciate solitude. We spend the day very well with the usual activities such as snorkeling, sunbathing, delicious food and drinks, and small talk. The temperatures are very pleasant for us at 25 degrees Celsius in the air and 27 degrees Celsius in the water, only the locals are freezing all the time...
