So, I got over Corona well and am exploring the area again.
I was in town to buy a grilled chicken (as I otherwise eat a mostly vegetarian diet), which is super delicious here, and by chance I discovered the other side of the bay, above the surf club... beautiful... I immediately opened my ginger beer and enjoyed the view.
The tourists from the Easter weekend are gone and it is quiet in the town again... At least until next weekend😅.
Speaking of Easter weekend....I'm walking the trail to Forster Beach with the dogs as usual and suddenly one of the dogs jumps to the side in fright...I wait a moment, the dog jumps up again and a brown snake comes out of the dunes onto the narrow path; about 1.20m long, brown, lighter belly and a rather small head in relation to the size of the belly. Thank goodness I stopped because of the dog's warning, because you can't avoid it on the trail. 🤦The snake slithers in an S-shape from one side to the other, the dog jumps back and forth at a distance, I hoped that he knew what he was doing until it disappeared back to where it came from. Phew... it all worked out well, if you like you can google brown snake... 🫢
The weather has cooled down considerably and humidity is only 60%. It is autumn and finally very pleasant.
On April 20th I'm flying to Auckland for a week and hope to go on a few exciting excursions, including seeing orcas....
I'll be back in Sydney on the last weekend of April before heading home on April 30th...
So, you know... 😉
