Still a bit tired from last night and due to the fact that we had something big planned for tonight, we spent the hundredth day of our journey quite comfortably at the hostel. We took care of a few important things and prepared for our three-day trip to Uyuni, which we will start tomorrow. At 10 pm, Carlos picked us up. Carlos is the owner of the agency where we booked the Astronomical Tour and a very nice guy. He offered to drive us to the desert at night to photograph and admire the incredible stars. I couldn't miss this unique opportunity to expand my repertoire. So the four of us drove out into the desert, and Carlos knew exactly where he was going. Lots of cacti, a river, a waterfall, and incredible star formations. We were with Carlos for about two hours, maybe even three, half frozen and with the thought in the back of our minds that we had to get up again in a few hours, but we were all still fascinated and incredibly grateful.
