Once again back in Fiji. Now we have arrived in the capital of the country, Suva, on the island of Viti Levu. Suva is the largest city in the South Pacific with nearly 100,000 inhabitants and therefore has a lot to offer. Of course, we strolled through the two-story market and found a huge selection of fruits and vegetables here. We continued to the Handicraft & Curio Centre, where many handmade items are sold. We strolled through the colorful streets, past large shopping centers but also past some colonial buildings. The parliament building is said to be one of the most impressive buildings in the city - that's a matter of taste .... Next to the Fiji Museum, which is currently being renovated, is the green Albert Park, where two rugby games can take place at the same time. In a big city there are, as is well known, many possibilities to eat out. So we treated ourselves to a pizza, Asian food and a large piece of chocolate cake. With a flight in a really small plane, where there was no door to the cockpit, we said goodbye to Suva and headed towards Nadi. Here we spent several hours at the airport before flying further to Tongatapu.
