Our farewell to the Highlands takes us through the most famous valley in Scotland. The Glencoe Valley. We are incredibly lucky with the weather. When we wake up, it's beautiful weather, which lasts almost the whole day. The sun is obscured by massive clouds, but it's not until we're well through the Glencoe Valley that the sky suddenly darkens and it starts to rain. But that doesn't bother us anymore for the last kilometers to our destination today, Loch Lomond.
The search for a campsite turns out to be a bit difficult. The campsite we had chosen is not where it's supposed to be according to the GPS. And it's also 'Members only'. So we have to keep driving. In the end, it turns out to be a stroke of luck because Balogh is really beautiful here.
Actually, we had decided to just take it easy this afternoon, but then the sunshine lures us out again and we go into town. There is a surprisingly large shopping center by the lake that we visit extensively, and then we also go to the pub for the first time on this vacation. I'm about to burst!
