This time it was only a short stay, but it was definitely worth it, it is really beautiful here (especially our accommodation)! On the way from Whangarei, we stopped in Leigh, which is supposed to be a paradise for snorkelers and divers, but we only took a short walk on the black sand and arrived in Raglan around 2 pm after another short stop in Albany. Then we went straight to the village and beach and strolled around Raglan and the surrounding area for almost 4 hours. Around 6 pm, we wanted to buy some beer at the supermarket (in New Zealand, the stores are open 7 days a week), but we were actually refused, even though I had my passport and Noah had his ID card with him. But since we were both at the checkout, both had to prove their age, but Noah's document was "invalid", so we were denied the beer. If he had waited outside, there would have been no problem, can someone please explain the logic? Well, we were able to enjoy the sunset very well without beer. Now we're heading to a surf beach and then to Rotorua.
