26 Tage Centennial Park, Paddington and Woolhara

Нашр шудааст: 14.01.2018

So I followed Michelle's advice and went to Centennial Park. The park offers a variety of native trees. Beautiful plantings like rose garden and column garden and so on. Many native animals roam freely. On January 1, 1901, 60,000 people gathered in this park to witness the inauguration of the Australian federation and the swearing-in of the first Australian Prime Minister. The park covers 360 hectares. You can find cricket pitches, golf courses, and other fields for games.

There was one disadvantage today. It was very very windy. See the picture of Bondi Beach, hardly any people and huge waves. After visiting the park and having a good meal, inside not outside, I walked through Paddington and Woolhara to Edgecliff via Queen Street and Ocean Street. Michelle was right about the beautiful old houses and especially on Queen Street with very nice boutiques. I didn't find the cafes particularly great. I think Europeans and Australians have a different idea of beauty there. At 4 pm, I took the bus home. Somehow the storm exhausted me. It was also good that I took the bus, because then it started raining. Well, let's see what the weather says tomorrow, I would like to go to Manly once again.

See you tomorrow, Roswitha

Das war aber auch sehr interessant. Da kannst Du zu Hause noch lange davon träumen und über alles nachdenken. Schöne Tage noch. Wir sitzen ohne Sonne im HochnebEl herum!!!
