Tasmania

With the rented car, we then went from Sydney to Melbourne, and from here to Tasmania.

The road trip was just great! 

What was special about it?

Driving on the left side of the road! Kangaroos very close :) 

Arriving in Tasmania, we were enchanted by the small village feel in Hobart! 

Cute houses, small city center (even though more than 40% of the island residents live here). And we're really excited about the famous nature that brought us here...

Issue: it's super cold, below 10 degrees at night. And there was sleet. In spring. Pati is dying with her microscopic thermoregulation in the tent. 

So we're waiting in the hostel for better weather! Luckily it's in sight!

Useless Knowledge Part 1:

Travel-sized toiletries only last for 3 weeks

On Halloween, they throw eggs instead of toilet paper (thankfully the people next to us were a better target. Phew!)

They put sugar in EVERYTHING here. Even in regular milk.
