Shiraz is a beautiful city full of orange trees, warmth, and nightingales. No wonder the greatest poets of the Persian Empire lived here, Hafez, Rumi, Sa‘adi. Colorful bazaars and very friendly people. I have never been stressed even though it is also a big, busy city. Yet it has a peculiar vastness and something light for my feeling.
Impressive the legendary Persepolis. Again and again you come across traces of the past in Iran. The country has been shaped by an extremely eventful history and still is. How will it continue? What will endure, what will decay? We do not know. In addition to all the beautiful sights, I am equally fascinated by the small moments of everyday life, street scenes that describe life here and now. Cooling off in Shiraz And what remains after such a long journey and so many experiences?Above all - deep gratitude.
