20/10 - Clark Quay & One Altitude

Actually, I assumed that we would meet for dinner on Thursday after work (Victor, Diana - two Couchsurfers - and me). Meeting point: Clark Quay MRT Station. So here's a picture of Clark Quay as promised (THE nightlife street in Singapore).

While waiting for the others, I had plenty of time to try to capture the sharpest images possible.

Of course, we also had dinner together: Victor really wanted to show us a secret tip restaurant for pork ribs. Yes, you read that right, pork ribs. It wouldn't necessarily be my first choice, but oh well. I want to try as many different things as possible. And since I wouldn't be overwhelmed eating something like that in Germany, I eagerly attacked it here in Singapore with chopsticks. The entertainment factor for the surrounding tables was accordingly high, and I was exhausted after conquering the two ribs with chopsticks.

But going home was not an option after that. While eating, Vincent and Diana informed me about their remaining plan for the evening: a visit to the One-Altitude Rooftop Bar and a photo shoot on the way there, because Vincent is an enthusiastic photographer. Great, and I just came straight from the office, I thought, changing clothes for a moment would definitely not have hurt ;-).
