2. Day of the tour

Phew. Getting up at 5 o'clock in the morning while on vacation. Departure at 6 o'clock...that was early.

Today was a longer drive of 3 hours, until we were in the middle of nowhere. It was about 42 degrees outside and we went climbing.

Very good conditions.

We marched in the heat for 2 hours in a canyon until we finally arrived at a river, where we were fascinated by the absolute beauty of nature.

Then we continued climbing back up after a 10-minute break. We took another break halfway up and some people abseiled down. I can only say - wow...being in the mountains and abseiling down a super steep wall.

Awesome feeling

When we reached the top, we had lunch and then hit the road towards Sharks Bay.

On the way, we also encountered the first kangaroos. Funny creatures they are.

Once we arrived at Sharks Bay (Denham), we ended the day in the pool and had a barbecue together.
