Final step to San Diego

Left Dolores early today. No breakfast at the motel! So on the way...

Arrived in San Diego at noon. First at the airport, which is located here in the city, to drop off the Mustang😥. But in doubt still the orange rocket... Although I cannot make any statement about sleeping comfort there😏

My hotel is located near the harbor. So first, check the situation there. Although there is no snow, it is still quite chilly. The Navy seems to play a big role here. Warships can be seen in the harbor and there is also a unit of the Marines stationed here. The highlight at the harbor is the huge aircraft carrier USS Midway.

Now it's a great museum, so visit it. Very impressive and very well done. Including various aircraft and helicopters. More military-oriented but more about history than patriotism👍.

Definitely worth a visit.

I ended the day at Karl Strauss Brewery. I don't have to drive anymore.

Tomorrow, I will explore the city!
