Savannah - Tybee Island

On the recommendation of Michael Meier, we visited Savannah and Tybee Island (parenthesis, I will see Michael in Nashville, parenthesis).

Savannah is a very pretty, historic town. The small shops and bars invite you to linger.

30 minutes drive east is Tybee Island, where we booked accommodation for three days. Theoretically, there should be a dreamy beach with many restaurants here. It was, for a beach day. The rest of the time was less pleasant. The seasonal storm arrived and flood warnings were issued for the island. Except for one sleepless night characterized by thunder, the flooding went smoothly for us and we can continue our journey tired.
