From Calgary via Banff to Golden

Today we set off towards Golden after breakfast. On the way we made a stop in the town of Banff, a former mountain village that is now the tourist center of the national park of the same name. There we strolled through the streets and enjoyed the atmosphere of the beautiful place.

Then we continued towards Golden. However, since Highway 1 is currently closed, we had to take a much longer but also beautiful alternative route via Highway 93. Here you are clearly compensated for the detour by the great landscape that passes you left and right. Unfortunately, we only arrived at our destination Golden in the dark, where we will spend the next three nights in a very cozy and idyllic lodge.
