Niagara Falls

This morning we headed to Niagara Falls. On the way there we stopped in the Niagara wine region for a wine tasting at Canada's only teaching winery, the "Niagara College Teaching Winery and Culinary Institute".

Then we went to our main goal today - Niagara Falls. There the Niagara River falls around 57 m over an edge length of 670 m. Equipped with rain caps, we were able to experience this spectacle up close on a tour boat - and despite the rain cap we got pretty wet. But this unique experience was more than worth it!

We then went back to Toronto via the pretty town of Niagara-on-the-Lake . A really lovely last day of our trip to Canada!
