At 19.15 h we arrived at the Chalets de Neuteu at 1700 m and will spend the night here in an open mountain hut.

At 13.30 h we started in St-Gingolph at 375 m above sea level, walked along the Morge on a wonderful path via Novel and La Planche to this hardly farmed alp. A beautiful, special place with a view of Lake Geneva and Vevey. 1300 meters of altitude on the first day without much training is quite a lot, and we are tired. Tomorrow we will continue via Col de Bise and the Chalets de Bise to Chapelle d'Abondance and maybe further.
