1. Day - Vancouver

After Kirsten not only drove us to the airport, but also brought a bottle of champagne, the start of the vacation couldn't have been better. After a small breakfast in the business lounge, we departed for Vancouver, not exactly on time. The approximately ten-hour flight was very pleasant and quite comfortable. We even got an Easter bunny from the crew 👍🏻.

After arriving at Vancouver airport with a very relaxed customs clearance and a 30-minute taxi ride, we arrived a bit tired (after all, it was already 2 a.m. for us) at our very nice room at the Paradox Hotel.

In the evening, we went to the "Rogers Arena" for ice hockey. Vancouver Canucks vs. Calgary Flames. You have to experience it. Absolutely insane, and even though we paid 175€ per ticket, it was worth every penny. The 8€ Bud Light didn't matter anymore. Moi Nerve!

Now that we've been awake for almost exactly 24 hours, we hope for a good night's sleep and little jet lag. The first day of our Canada trip was already very exciting. Hopefully, it will continue like this. Maybe with a little more sleep 😴.
