Taking the ferry to Isla Mujeres

Hello! The next morning - the night was terrible because the sore throat was getting worse and I was glad I had my supply of Ibuprofen - I woke up at 7 o'clock due to jet lag and couldn't sleep anymore. So, I got up, had breakfast and chilled by the hotel pool for a while. The sun was shining and it was really hot. Thanks to the great weather, I quickly started feeling better and got ready for my next stop: Isla Mujeres - the Women's Island, only 15 minutes away by ferry from Cancun, but quite touristy as I noticed at the port...lots of Americans on vacation there. Many families and couples and partygoers, who were already drinking their beers while waiting in line for the ferry. The ferry ride continued in a similar fashion: a man with a sombrero and guitar sang cheerful music to get everyone in the holiday mood. It even worked on me. The water was turquoise blue, with the sun and the wind. Yay, the vacation begins :-)
