Caravan-Salon Düsseldorf

Soo, finally I get to write 😅

Our first intermediate destination was Düsseldorf, to the Caravan Salon, this is THE leading trade fair that you should not miss as a real camper. Gigantic! Both the numerous exhibition halls and the huge parking lot, which is being converted into a mobile home parking space these days.

Although we are currently not looking for a new vehicle, we found it super exciting again. When we visited the stand of "our" manufacturer Niesmann & Bischoff to take a look at the new Flair model (you're allowed to look 😇), we were slightly shocked.

Which “hip” designer let off steam there? Dark ceiling, gray felt on the walls, angular cupboards, the gas stove without a cover, a toilet door that you can't close when you use it, everything seems "cheap"... Price: €350,000 ❗️😳 (and it wasn't even fully equipped 😂) . They've got a wheel off: A price increase of 52% in the last 12 years 🤣

Ok, we didn't want a new one anyway! 😅 We lovingly caressed our fat one again over the dashboard and whispered to him: "Please stay with us for a few more years!"

Apart from a scarf and glasses cleaning spray 😂 we didn't let anything get us, so this visit to the fair was significantly cheaper than some years before 😉.

In the evening we sat down with friends in front of the mobile home 🍷 while the planes crashed right over us. This is also part of Messe Düsseldorf: the exhibition center is right in the entry lane ✈️
