I woke up to the sound of seagulls and the morning sun piercing through the mosquito net of the hammock. As the first thing, I ran back to the pier and took a running jump into the refreshing water and swam a few laps. After drying off and packing up, I made my way to the train station. The trains to Copenhagen ran every ten minutes, so I didn't have to wait long. After half an hour, I got off in the Danish capital.
I was texting with a friend who had just moved to the city and met her to help her move into her new apartment. Laden with bags, we boarded the metro and headed south, where her student dormitory was located. After we had unloaded everything, we made our way to the beach, where we met other students, played games, and went swimming.
In the evening, we sat together on the rooftop terrace of another student dormitory and sampled the local breweries. When we were all tired, we headed to the city center, with half of us going dancing and the rest of us going to the Bastardcafé, an establishment where you can enjoy drinks while trying out their extensive collection of board games. When the café was about to close, we went back home and eventually went to bed after some conversations.
