On the go on the Nile

This morning the ship set sail at 7 o'clock. So we didn't see anything from Edfu. But we were able to sleep a little longer today. It's really warm in the lee.

In the afternoon we arrive in KomOmbo and visit the palace, which is located right on the shore, and the crocodile museum with stuffed and mummified crocodiles.

 After 1.5 hours we continue towards Aswan.

Adventure Lars is fully equipped with a pith helmet for visiting the temple😂

Selfie-Harry (with the Porsche jacket) always takes selfies in front of the sights, unfortunately there are often people in between.

And then there's Quarkmaske, who has been sitting in the sun for so long today that he is sunburned.

There are a lot of smokers on the ship, which we are no longer used to. We sit next to someone in the morning who smokes a pack of cigarettes in an hour. We try to count to ten after each cigarette, which we can't do.

We enjoy the rest of the day on the sun deck on the way to Aswan, where we arrive in the evening.

It's stupid that we never anchor directly in front of the city, so you can never go out on your own.

We had imagined it differently somehow.

The sunset is perfect again.
