Vegas feeling

வெளியிடப்பட்டது: 25.10.2017

Yesterday was a day that could have been in Las Vegas as well :)

After we went for a walk on the beach in the morning, we spent the rest of the day relaxing by the pool.
The pool behavior/pool rules of the Americans:

- no reserving sunbeds with towels!
- smoking only outside the pool area!
- pools are always shallow enough for little Sabrina to stand comfortably :)
- group formation in the pool encouraged
- drinks are not supposed to be taken into the water, but they are even delivered by the waiter

And so these small groups stand in the pool for hours with their cocktails and beers, chatting away :)
Music is playing relatively loud in the background.
But this behavior is typical here and we already knew it from other vacations.

After spending the whole day at the hotel, we thought about doing something in the evening. That's why we went to the nearby Hard Rock Café.
Impressed by this huge facility, we took a walk first. Apart from the café/restaurant, it is a hotel, casino, concert venue with a public swimming pool and golf course. A gigantic thing! And since we were there, we played as well :) after I was unsuccessful at the slot machine, Patrick sat down at the blackjack table and was successful :) after playing a bit more on a couple of other slot machines, we left the casino with a profit of $80 :)
In the restaurant, we finally got a table (in New York and Barcelona it was so crowded every time that we would have had to wait for a table for over an hour) and had a little something to eat before we drove back to the hotel.
We already got a little bit of that Vegas feeling, even though we are on the other side of the country.
