Rainy day :-(

Sorry, I forgot to write the blog yesterday. Probably because I was looking forward to the NFL game :)
However, there's not much to report for Saturday. It was pouring rain in the morning and afternoon. Going outside was out of the question, and driving would have been pointless as some roads were flooded.
So, we decided to have a cozy breakfast at our hotel. Ha! The other hotel guests had the same idea :-D The restaurant was so crowded that we had to wait for half an hour. But it was worth it because the breakfast was very delicious: blueberry pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, hash browns, etc.
After breakfast, we relaxed in our room until the weather improved around noon. The roads were also passable again. So, we went for a stroll on Las Olas Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. It's the main strip of Fort Lauderdale with shops, restaurants, and cafes, the usual stuff :) We also had our first frozen yogurt there, it was yummy... the German vendors just can't compete, sorry!
Since the weather was okay but not great, we decided to go to the movies at 6:30. We watched the film "The Accountant" starring Ben Affleck. The movie was good and the popcorn was nicely salted :)
That was our Saturday... not spectacular but relaxing :)
