I'm writing this text while we are enjoying the sun on our bellies and the view of the Lysefjord! ☀️😉
The approximately 2-hour hike with about 1000 other hiking enthusiasts was very beautiful and the nature was unique! The sun was also greeting us and the blue sky made the weather perfect.
Our first hike led us to perhaps the most famous rock in Norway, the Preikestolen (in English: Pulpit). It is a cliff that drops about 600m into the abyss.
However, we were able to truly enjoy it only when we couldn't see the famous rock anymore. It's a mystery to me why more tourists haven't had accidents here. Everyone wants to take a photo as close to the edge as possible, with their feet far out or with their back 30cm in front of nothingness.⛰ Watching that was a bit unsettling for us 😅
