Our last summer day! We use it to drive to Tromsø. The most significant city north of the Arctic Circle (at least in Norway, maybe also in Scandinavia). The largest city in Norway by area, home to the Arctic Council (and yes, it really exists) and the Mack Brewery (the northernmost brewery in the world), as well as the northernmost university. You can already tell; it's a super(lative) city. The tunnel system is also super - super easy to get lost in three times. But we have time.
And what a beautiful last summer day awaits us there. We visit the botanical garden. We also have some superlatives to offer for this one: the northernmost botanical garden in the world (allegedly). And it is said to have the largest collection of succulent plants (and such) in the world, although we don't know for sure.
Just enjoy, like us, our pictures and be happy about our last day of sun for a very long time (it's September again).
And yes... Agnes apparently couldn't resist taking some architectural photos. But it also looks cool, this Arctic Cathedral (höhö, pun) by Jan Inge Hovig. And yes, you guessed it: the northernmost cathedral in the world! (Norway - superlatives galore)
