Tag 115 - Stockholm, Sweden (05.05.2020)

It has been about a week since we arrived in Stockholm. After getting used to the extreme temperature difference of over 30 degrees, we have really enjoyed our days here in the Swedish capital.

The contrast to Kuala Lumpur couldn't have been greater, cafes and restaurants are open and people are gathering in the parks and on the promenades, enjoying the gradually emerging spring and the rays of sun.

For us, it was a great feeling to be able to go out again, so we set out on foot to explore the area every day.

Although many museums and attractions such as the Stockholm Palace are closed here as well, we have seen a lot of the city. We particularly liked the old town Gamla Stan with its small winding alleys.

Tomorrow we will leave Stockholm and head north. In the next few days, we want to explore Sweden's beautiful landscape all the way to the Arctic Circle.
