On the way here we completed the first 4000km.
Everyone thinks that Cape Finisterre is the westernmost point of the Spanish mainland, but that's not true. This honor is given to Cape Tourinan, which is located 30km further north.
Anyway, we drive here in real dirty weather and find a parking lot, a lighthouse and well, a pretty cloudy view. It's pouring rain and the view of parking our car on a muddy meadow doesn't impress us either.
So we drive back to Fisterra, a small town with a nice harbor, and park there at the end of a dead end street, right in front of the harbor master's office. Boldness wins, the Spaniards take it easy.
Of course, we park sideways so that we can see the harbor through the sliding door while eating.
