In this small place in Snowdown National Park, less than 500 people live. However, in summer, the tiny village is flooded with thousands of tourists.

There is a beautiful church, but I only found out about it during my departure... Furthermore, it is the starting point for many hikes through the 'romantically rugged' landscape with its many waterfalls.

For us, it was primarily a food stop. I opted for the classic English dish Fish & Chips. I had actually never eaten this before. As I was explained, the average Brit first pours vinegar on the chips and then adds salt. Well, that wasn’t so terrible after all. Worse was the fat or oil. I did finish eating the fish (even with half the batter left), but unfortunately, half of the fries ended up in the trash...

There were also interesting dishes: ice cream for 🐶🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐩 and there were plenty of consumers for it. I found the ice cream burger rather bizarre.

In general, the Brits are just different: drizzling rain and 12 degrees, and they stroll around in sleeveless t-shirts or shirts and shorts...

I also checked out the train station, a lovely platform with great hanging plants and a gallery that turns trash into art. The rhino, for example, is made of bottle caps.

Speaking of bottle caps: apparently, these firmly attached bottle caps haven't made it to the UK yet. So, mine ended up on the floor... One can get used to things quite quickly.
