Day of departure!

Yesterday we ordered a taxi through Facebook, which is supposed to take us back to the south, this time to Canggu. We pack our things and wait with them in the front garden of the accommodation after breakfast. Ten minutes earlier than agreed, our taxi appears including a taciturn driver and we can start driving.

We have already been in Canggu at the beginning of our Bali trip - if you remember: the place that screams 'Instagram'. However, we still want to surf but not necessarily go back to Kuta. So we give the hipster region another chance.

When we arrived at our new accommodation (admittedly: quite fancy), we have to wait for our room as usual, because we are a few hours early as usual. We get some ice cream and coffee and bridge the waiting time with games.

A bit earlier than expected, our room is ready and we spend the rest of the afternoon there and at the pool.

In the evening, we take another walk into the city. Luckily, we find a stand with Jonna's beloved Indonesian pancakes, which we naturally cannot pass without taking one. I get some chicken with fried rice a bit further away (fiery hot but super delicious) and Jonna on the way back (at the same stand where they have the pancakes) a huge spring roll.

We make our way back home and enjoy the sunset over the rice fields.
