Sado - Sawata and Goldmines

Imechapishwa: 22.06.2023

On Sunday and Monday, we have another day off and we're using one of the days to go to Sawata. Sawata is a city with many restaurants and some shops for Sado. We visit some of the clothing stores, and I buy myself a few cool t-shirts and a pair of pants with a lot of pockets from a gardening apparel store. I also get a new hat so that my ears, which I always forget to apply sunscreen to, are finally protected. For lunch, we eat at a cafe that is a bit secluded but has a very good rating on Google Maps. At first, we're unsure if we're in the right place because sometimes the entrances to restaurants and cafes look like regular house doors. However, we gather the courage to open the door and we're actually in a cafe, not someone's living room. The good rating was justified, and the food is really delicious, and the cold drinks are perfect for the quite hot day. After lunch, we take a few more bus stops and visit the gold mines. Since I've been there before, I can show the others the way, and due to the beautiful weather, we decide not to go to the museum but to enjoy the great view instead. After having a strawberry milkshake from the nearby cafe, we make our way back
